The Space2debate session held at the public seminar was facilitated by Peter Tygesen and Martin Breum. The debaters were invited to take the stage on the issue of climate-related disaster risks, policy trends and the current status. They were: Craig Johnstone, Steen Gade and Madeleen Helmer. Taking a starting point from “The way forward – what steps do we need to take in order to link the humanitarian agenda and expertise to climate change adaptation strategies and initiatives”, the two facilitators, Martin Breum and Peter Tygesen, invited Saroj Kumar Jha, Helene Molin Valdés, Anders Ladekarl and Poul Erik Lauridsen to debate.
