Interviews from Early Recovery Practitioners' and Policy Forum
|  220 people were in the beginning of October gathered in Copenhagen to discuss the early recovery concept. The setting was innovative, and Forum theatre was used as a method. "We've spend too much time in conferences," Anne-Birgitte Albrectsen says.
| |  "During this Policy Forum, we were able to consider 24 very concrete actions suggested by the Practitioners' Forum," says Kathleen Cravero, talking about the Policy Forum where key policy makers were gathered and agreed upon a common statement on early recovery.

James Darcy characterises future protection challenges as a variant of what we face today. We will see increased conflict over land and resources, and the changes in the climate will force millions people to flee from their present communities. Building standards is only half the story.
